Different Ways To Drink Your Water

Did you know that almost 70% of adult Americans are dehydrated?  There are so many reasons and excuses people give for not drinking enough water such as; I don’t like the taste, I forget to drink it, isn’t there water in my coffee?  Although you can give any reason under the sun for not drinking enough water, you should be drinking at least half your weight in ounces of water.  For example if you weigh 150 pounds you should be drinking at least 75 ounces of water.  Here are some different ways tips for making sure you are drinking enough water.  

If water is just too plain for your taste you can always jazz up by adding some lemon juice or essential oils.  Adding peppermint oil can help to curb your appetite, reduce headaches or migraines and increase concentration.  Lemon can help to detox and alkalizes the body.   Keeping a reusable water container in your car and at your desk can also help to ensure you always have water on hand.  I usually keep a gallon of water in the trunk of my car incase I need to fill up my smaller reusable water bottle when I am on the go.  It also helps to save money and reduce waste.  To help remind you to drink more water, you can set a alarm on your phone to remind you to drink every hour.  I know a friend who has used this reminder tool to help him keep track of how much water he is drinking.

Remember when you are hydrated it helps to reduce unwanted food cravings and can also help you to Lose Weight.  Staying hydrated can also help give you energy and reduce headache symptoms.
